Duties
- Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including production planning, assembly, quality control, and maintenance to meet operational goals.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across the plant.
- Utilize manage production, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics effectively.
- Oversee supply chain management activities, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control using supply chain analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and execute strategies for process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Manage plant budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment by leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment and processes to troubleshoot issues promptly and implement preventative maintenance plans.
Qualifications
- Proven Five (5) Years experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with demonstrated success in plant leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge and experience in manufacturing and planning is highly desirable.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement techniques, and supply chain management practices.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery and oversee maintenance activities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage change effectively, and drive operational excellence.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory compliance requirements within manufacturing settings.
- Strong analytical skills in supply chain analytics to optimize inventory levels and streamline operations.
