Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., has an opening for full or part-time Code Enforcement Officer in the Ceres, CA area. The qualified individuals will be responsible for conducting field investigations regarding possible violations of a variety of City/County codes and ordinances, and related state codes including zoning, nuisance, property maintenance, housing, transportation, and animal and business license/permits, health and sanitation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting site inspections.
- Issuing permits and certificates of occupancy.
- Investigating complaints.
- Enforcing compliance through notices of violation.
- Issuing building permits.
- Monitoring construction of permitted projects.
- Addressing code violations.
- Record keeping.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of working as a Code Enforcement Officer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Holidays scheduled to work - all recognized holidays celebrated by the City or County.
