Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking Full-Time Code Enforcement Officers in Seminole, FL to help ensure safe, vibrant, and thriving communities.
What you'll do:
- Patrol assigned areas with the team and monitor vendor activity for compliance with city/county codes.
- Educate vendors on permit requirements and applicable regulations.
- Issue warnings, notices of violation, and citations as appropriate.
- Respond to community complaints regarding vendor activity in a professional manner.
- Document inspections and enforcement actions, including reports and photos.
- Collaborate with teammates, local law enforcement, health departments, and city officials as needed.
What we're looking for:
- Background in law enforcement, corrections, code enforcement, or security preferred.
- Certified Code Enforcement Officer, current or prior law enforcement, or PC 832 certification.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
