We are seeking an ICC-Certified Building Inspector near the Corpus Christi, TX area. This is more than just inspections—it’s about ensuring the safety, quality, and future-readiness of the places where people live, work, and thrive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting inspections before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Issuing permits, violation notices, and stop-work orders when needed.
- Clearly communicating findings with homeowners, contractors, and field personnel.
- Mentoring and training inspection staff to build a stronger, more knowledgeable team.
- Serving as a trusted resource for technical guidance and customer service.
- Staying ahead of the curve by integrating new developments in building and safety standards.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector's License.
- ICC Certifications (Commercial and Residential required).
- 3–5 years of inspection experience, preferably with municipal agencies.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
