A leading plastic manufacturer based in Cortland, New York, who are looking for a Blow Moulding Process Technician to join their growing team. The successful Blow Moulding Process Technicianwill have experience in continuous extrusion blow moulding.
Job Summary:
As a Blow Moulding Process Technician, you’ll be responsible for providing operational management the process capability/support to all areas of manufacturing by performing set-ups, establishing the molding process and parameters of machines, materials, manpower, measuring, molds, and methods to achieve the company Plastics International Quality and Manufacturing objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain process control of all manufacturing Blow Molding operations.
· Perform Set-ups on job changeovers.
· Perform Quality Assurance Visual and Dimensional Inspections.
· Perform Preventive Maintenance as required.
· Work with Shift Manager on Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Continual Improvements of blow molded products.
About You:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· 3 years’ experience in continuous extrusion blow molding
· Working with Bekum, Automa, Rocheleau, Fisher machines a plus.
· Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and mechanical preferred.
· Equivalent combinations of education and/ or experience will be considered.
