- Knowledge and experienced in Industrial, Personnel, Operations (OPSEC) and Physical Security
- Knowledge and experienced with the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISPOM
- Experience using the DOD personnel security system of record, Defense Information System for Security (DISS and Scattered Castles
- Experienced in processing Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) Indoctrination packages
- Experienced and knowledgeable with Contract Security Classification Specification forms (DD Form 254) reviewing for accuracy and completeness for programs
- Review and update program security databases
- Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, to include both written and verbal.
- Experience with national security program directives and applicable DCID, ICD, DoD, and Executive Orders.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- A self-starter with great multi-tasking skills, work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to work well with Govt civilian personnel as well as Industry personnel
- Ability to work with many diverse personality types
- Extremely organized, possessing excellent time management skills
- Experience working in a SCIF
- Must have a Top Secret/SCI level clearance
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Experience in the IC arena, Navy a PLUS
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to obtain a poly
- Provide other security support to ONI as requested or assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- Possessing FSO certification – CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU Certification (at a minimum)
- Additional Certs from CDSE are a plus
- Experience as a Contract Security Specialist Representative (CSSR)
- High School Diploma/GED and 10 or more years’ related work experience
- Bachelor's and 6 or more years’ related work experience
- Master’s degree and 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience within DOD/IC
