Installation Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the installation of a wide range of HVAC systems and related equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and make a significant impact on our clients’ comfort and energy efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Lead and perform the installation of various HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning, heating, oil fired units, heat pumps, mini splits, and ventilation units. Ensure installations are completed efficiently and in compliance with all safety and code regulations.
• Start-Up: Conduct initial start-ups of newly installed systems, ensuring optimal operation from the outset. This includes adjusting settings, testing controls, and making necessary modifications for peak performance.
• Training: Provide training to customers and client personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of installed HVAC systems to ensure long-term functionality and efficiency.
• Equipment Replacement/Installation: Assist in the selection and installation of replacement equipment or upgrades to existing systems, ensuring compatibility and efficiency improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, including project managers, other technicians, and client representatives, to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation processes, and equipment start-up procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and a desire to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to train non-technical personnel.
• Commitment to safety standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• HVAC certification or equivalent vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
