Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medication Technician/Caregiver working the NOC Shift ! Part time 10pm to 2 pm In this vital role, you will provide compassionate medication administration and personalized caregiving to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Duties
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Document medication administration and resident responses in accordance with medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to adhere to individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or changes in condition, reporting findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide support in the facility setting, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for Residents.
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as ECP is preferred.
- Experience in assisted living or m mental health care environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate approach to resident care, demonstrating empathy and respect for individuals' needs.
