Medication Technician/Caregiver - NOC Part time

Job Summary
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medication Technician/Caregiver working the NOC Shift ! Part time 10pm to 2 pm In this vital role, you will provide compassionate medication administration and personalized caregiving to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Duties

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
• Document medication administration and resident responses in accordance with medical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to adhere to individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or changes in condition, reporting findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Provide support in the facility setting, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for Residents.

Skills

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as ECP is preferred.
• Experience in assisted living or m mental health care environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Compassionate approach to resident care, demonstrating empathy and respect for individuals' needs.
