PAY: According to the Union Contract based on experience MLT wage range $32.67-$51.82 Medical laboratory Scientist wage range $36.93-$63.95

SHIFT: Full Time Night Shift 3–12-hour shifts Friday-Sunday, with holidays, and call- Shift/days may change
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has a professional responsibility for planning, performing, evaluating and reporting CLIA ’88 waived, moderately complex and highly complex testing. This includes pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical function; performing the day-to-day work of MLT/MLS to include performing quality control and quality assurance; instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; monitoring supply inventory; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with health care providers, patients, and other hospital personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum of an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred with training to include the completion of a certified MLT/MLS program. MLT/MLS certification by ASCP, AMT, AABB or equivalent organization required. Minimum of 3 years Generalist experience in a hospital laboratory including Blood Banking and phlebotomy preferred. Must be able to work independently. MA-P phlebotomy license required within 6 months of hire.
Salary : $33 - $52
