Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
- Observe, administer, and record medications, treatments, patient's vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
- Reinforce, support, and provide health care instructions to patients and their families
- Assist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge
- Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:
- Current and valid LPN license
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
