Lead the next phase of an enterprise-wide SAP transformation.

Willan Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead Wave 2 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s ERP enhancement program.

Following PTC’s completed migration to SAP S/4HANA, you will manage complex enhancements across core business applications, integrated systems, and business processes. You will coordinate IT teams, business stakeholders, system integrators, vendors, and executive leadership to deliver aligned, accountable project outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Lead multiple concurrent workstreams throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.

• Build and maintain detailed, integrated schedules in Microsoft Project or Project Online, including deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and the critical path.

• Manage scope, risks, issues, changes, cost estimates, and resource planning.

• Establish clear governance, ownership, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.

• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, including system integrator project managers.

• Communicate progress, delivery risks, and decisions to business owners, sponsors, and executive stakeholders.

• Maintain project documentation, approvals, and signoffs in accordance with PTC’s PMO standards.

• Conduct lessons learned sessions and identify opportunities to improve delivery.

Required qualifications

• 10 years of project management experience across projects of varying size and complexity, covering integration, scope, scheduling, communication, vendor management, and risk management.

• Demonstrated experience managing SAP/ERP or enterprise business solution projects.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Expert proficiency in creating and maintaining integrated plans using Microsoft Project and/or Project Online.

• Experience managing high-profile specialist vendors across on-premises and cloud environments.

• Experience delivering multi-year projects.

• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Technology environment

PTC’s landscape includes SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Service and Asset Manager, with integrations spanning SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other enterprise platforms.

Location and onsite expectations

We are seeking candidates local to Harrisburg or surrounding areas who can meet the following requirements:

• Work remotely with one week per month onsite in Middletown, PA.

• Attend additional onsite meetings, implementations, and issue-resolution sessions as needed.

• Be available to reach the PTC work location within three hours in an emergency.

• Attend a full-day onsite orientation and personally collect assigned equipment.

• Participate in in-person interviews or stakeholder sessions when required.

The contract rate includes required travel costs for resources based within a three-hour commuting distance. Travel for orientation and equipment pickup is not reimbursed.
