Qualifications:
- A robust educational background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in piano or guitar performance.
- Experience in nurturing students of various ages and skill levels through piano lessons.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with both students and their families.
- The skill to adapt your teaching style to meet the individual needs of each student’s musical journey.
- An abundance of patience and inventiveness, along with a consistently upbeat attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- The ability to operate independently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- A profound love for music and a desire to encourage students to pursue their musical ambitions.
Responsibilities: You will begin your role in December 2025 and continue through June 2025, providing in-home piano lessons to our diverse Brooklyn community, arranged according to your schedule. While our primary focus is on children, we welcome educators skilled in teaching students of all ages. You will also be expected to join monthly online meetings with our director to ensure you are in tune with our educational philosophy.
