About the Role
As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the pristine condition and optimal functioning of residential and commercial swimming pools. This isn't just about cleaning; it's about water chemistry, equipment troubleshooting, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine Pool Cleaning: Skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying baskets.
- Water Chemistry Management: Testing and balancing chemical levels (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid).
- Equipment Inspection & Maintenance: Checking and troubleshooting pumps, filters, heaters, and other pool equipment.
- Minor Repairs: Performing small repairs on pool equipment as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs of services performed, chemical readings, and any issues.
- Customer Interaction: Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding pool status and recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in pool maintenance is highly preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of pool chemistry and equipment operation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
