Executive Director, Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Functions when Executive Director is away from community
- Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates floor staff, maintenance and dietary to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided for residents. Assist with Orientation for all new staff.
- Works directly with the Executive Director to plan and assign work duties and assignments for the Clinical staff, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Dietary staff.
- Monitors the day-to-day work provided by the Maintenance, Dietary staff; supervising, critiquing, suggesting, and educating the staff on proper work standards.
- Oversee staffing and assist RCC's and MRM ensuring staffing and call outs are managed for all floor staff, assist with corrective action plans.
- Coordinates the residents’ move-in and orients new residents to the community.
- Facilitates and coordinates the discharge process for all residents who are being discharged from the Community. This includes assisting the residents, family, and other healthcare provided to make this transition as easy as possible.
- Assures all Maintenance and Dietary quality assurance is completed weekly, monthly ect.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the residents.
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, surveyors and the general public.
- Must have thorough knowledge of State regulations mandated by the state in which the assisted living community operates, the survey process, and quality measures.
- Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and senior care practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing facilities.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
- Must be familiar with laws, regulations and guidelines governing personnel administration.
