General Information

Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Behavior Intervention Teacher position. 

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and appropriate licensure from TSPC including, a Special Education: Generalist endorsement. Demonstrated knowledge of general elementary, middle, and high school subject matters. Experience working in a therapeutic milieu and/or experience working with children who engage in explosive behaviors. Experience working with Alt Ed/SPED population also highly desirable.

Successful candidate will work as a member of the Special Education Department and will follow a 190-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD Yamhill Center in McMinnville, OR and will begin Augut 21, 2026.

Salary and Benefits

• This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) licensed position represented by Willamette Valley Education Association.
• Placement on the Willamette ESD licensed salary schedule, $52,645 - $98,397*, will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training, experience, and prorated according to start date.  Salary and benefits shown are based upon full-time employment (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year contract period.*Salaries shown are based upon 2023-2026 Licensed bargaining agreement, and are subject to change based upon the outcome of new collective bargaining agreement.
