Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently demolishing structures and preparing sites for new construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of heavy equipment operation and various construction techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition tasks according to project plans and specifications
- Operate heavy equipment
- Safely remove debris and hazardous materials from work sites
- Assist with site preparation for new construction projects
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience in demolition or related construction fields
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including excavators, skid steers, dingos and jackhammers
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
-Ability to lift up to 50lb on a regular basis
Note: This position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ideal candidates have flexibility to work daytime, nighttime projects & out of town projects as needed.
