Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic to join our emergency response team. The paramedic will be responsible for delivering timely medical interventions, ensuring patient safety, and supporting transport to medical facilities.
Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the patient's condition upon arrival
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history review
- Provide critical care interventions such as airway management, medication administration
- Manage airway patency using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately during transport and treatment
- Assist with trauma triage and prioritize patient needs based on severity levels
- Operate emergency medical equipment adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Support critical care transport between hospitals or from scene to medical facilities, including Level II trauma centers
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions and treatments performed during shifts
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols
- Skilled in airway management, vital signs monitoring, patient assessment, and medication administration
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate emergency vehicles safely under high-pressure conditions
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required during patient handling and equipment setup
