Position Title: Clinic/Office Receptionist
Employment Type: Part-Time (60 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)

Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Clinic/Office Receptionist to join our team. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing front desk operations, scheduling, phone calls, and administrative support. Experience in both primary care clinic and home-health settings is strongly preferred; other experienced candidates can apply.
Responsibilities
· Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
· Answer and route phone calls; respond to patient inquiries.
· Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using EHR/clinic systems.
· Verify patient demographics, insurance, and home-health service authorizations.
· Process intake paperwork, referrals, and patient forms.
· Collect copayments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
· Support providers, nurses, and home-health teams with administrative tasks.
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
· Coordinate with home-health staff regarding patient scheduling and timecard submissions.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or home-health setting preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Somali) preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
· Pay Range: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience, Minnesota market rates).
· Paid holidays and PTO (prorated for part-time)
