Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles, ensuring quick and accurate service.
- Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Promote additional products through upselling techniques and product demos to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and restrooms, adhering to safety standards.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products, services, or store policies while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and conducting product demos to boost sales.
