SUMMARY
Plans and prepares production work orders and routers in accordance with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for manufacture of industrial or commercial products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Review and familiarize self/aligns with IMS schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates and ensure production personnel have all work orders and routers to appropriately capture labor and materials per project.
- Works closely with engineering department to manage priority of drawing release and Bill of Material (BOM) integrity
- Recognize and initiate required BOM revisions to improve BOM accuracy
- Maintains the integrity of data in the Global Shop Solutions (GSS) ERP System
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects and ensure there are no gaps in required documentation
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepares production reports pertaining to open work orders, material issuing, and sales bins.
- Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment necessary for certain functions when necessary
- Prepares warranty and good faith work orders and routers
- Attend various meetings, i.e. weekly production meeting to ensure alignment with needs of production personnel .

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
