About The Role

Wilks Tire & Battery Service is building a modern, technology forward marketing team. We are seeking a

Bachelor's degree graduate early in their career who wants to become a well-rounded creative professional

within a structured environment. This individual contributor role is designed to build strong foundational skills

while increasing responsibility over time. With access to enterprise grade tools and dedicated training

resources, you'll be supported in expanding your capabilities through initiative and ownership.

What You'll Do

• Brand Leadership Trajectory: You will start in hands on production with the goal of eventually taking ownership of our day-to-day creative execution across digital and print channels.
• Design & Creative Production: Create social media graphics, digital ads, flyers, and branded sales materials. You will move beyond simple templates to create custom, professional work with a focus on layout, typography, and hierarchy.
• Tech Enhanced Workflow: Utilize modern creative tools for concept development, copy ideation, and visual prototyping. You will learn how to refine and improve generated outputs inside professional software to ensure brand consistency and quality.
• Social & Digital Presence: Assist in planning and scheduling content across multiple platforms, contribute to short form video like Reels or TikTok, and help maintain our digital presence across various business locations.
• Performance Tracking: Help maintain visual systems across digital and print channels. You will gain exposure to campaign performance metrics and contribute ideas for improving workflow efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in any field. Recent graduates are welcome to apply

Design Foundation

• Technical Proficiency: You should be comfortable working within Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign, and able to execute structured creative work in a professional design environment. Familiarity with Canva and modern AI assisted creative tools is beneficial. This role will build upon your existing foundation and expand your capability within Adobe and related platforms.
• Design Principles: This role emphasizes visual communication, layout structure, typographic hierarchy, and brand consistency. Success requires the ability to translate ideas into clear, strategically organized creative assets using industry standard tools. A traditional fine art or illustrative background is not required. We prioritize structured visual communication, layout discipline, and the ability to produce high quality digital content over hand rendered artistic ability.
• Customization vs Templates: While templates can serve as a starting point when appropriate, you must be capable of creating structured, professional creative assets from a blank canvas. Templates should enhance workflow efficiency, not replace independent design thinking or disciplined brand execution.
• Portfolio of Work: You will need to provide a portfolio during initial conversations. Work may be academic, personal, freelance, or professional, as long as it clearly demonstrates your ability to produce effective, well-structured creative content. A link to your portfolio website or document storage location must be included on your resume to ensure timely review.

What You'll Gain

• Compensation: Annual salary of $48,000 to $54,000. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on demonstrated capabilities, portfolio strength, and overall technical skillset.

You will work closely together to develop structured, professional workflows that integrate AI into creative production, strategy, and problem solving.
