Showroom Admin - Wilkinson Supply Co.

The Showroom Admin is the first point of contact for customers entering the showroom and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and engaging environment. This role supports the sales team by greeting walk-in clients, managing the customer check-in process, distributing brochures, and assisting with scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate is personable, well-presented, and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service.

• Greet all customers and guests as they arrive in the showroom with professionalism and warmth.

• Manage customer check-ins and notify the appropriate sales representative of arrivals.

• Offer brochures, literature, and product information based on customer interests.

• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure prompt customer engagement.

• Assist with appointment scheduling and maintain the showroom appointment calendar.

• Assist with creating picture books for customers.

• AP responsibilities, such as opening mail and matching invoices to checks.

• Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and stocked front reception area.

• Provide general support to the sales team by ensuring customers are engaged while waiting.

• Represent the company’s values of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.

• Answering all phone calls that come into the branch.

• All other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or reception is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor in a customer-facing environment.

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

• Basic computer skills and comfort with appointment scheduling tools.

• Ability to remain calm and welcoming in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand and walk the showroom floor for extended periods throughout the day.

• Occasional light lifting of brochures, literature, or showroom items (under 20 lbs).

• Consistent professional presentation and communication with customers.

• Work is performed in a retail showroom environment with customer interaction throughout the shift.
