Responsibilities
- Assist the survey crew in performing boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys
- Carry and operate surveying equipment including rods, GPS units, and data collectors
- Set stakes, monuments, and markers for construction layout
- Walk over varied terrain while carrying equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Assist in locating property corners, utilities, and site features
- Maintain field notes and assist with data collection
- Follow safety procedures while working on construction and development sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Construction or surveying experience is a plus but not required
