The Wilkes Firm is seeking an Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.
If you have a minimum of 5 years of personal injury and civil litigation experience, this role is for you! Preferred candidates will have prior employment as a prosecutor or experience in medical malpractice, nursing home/elder abuse or other catastrophic personal injury litigation. Candidates will be licensed, and in good standing, in the state of Florida.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed in state of Florida
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings
- Be able to work independently but also collaboratively with other attorney
- Perform appellate research
- Drafting substantive pleadings
- Possess excellent research skills, specifically utilizing Westlaw
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
- Knowledgeable with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
