Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting firearms, accessories, and related products with expert knowledge.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to ensure a well-organized sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about firearm specifications, usage, and safety protocols.
- Process transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy.
- Upsell complementary products such as ammunition, cleaning supplies, or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Ensure all firearm sales comply with federal, state, and local regulations by verifying proper identification.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to strict safety standards during firearm handling and storage.
- Assist in training new team members or supervising staff when needed to promote a knowledgeable and cohesive team atmosphere.
- Engage in ongoing product knowledge development through training sessions and industry updates to stay current on firearms trends.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service
