Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including transmissions, engines, and vehicle suspension systems.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to uphold safety standards.
- Repair and replace vehicle transmission systems, suspension components, and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal handling.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to execute repairs efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) technology for calibration and repair.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment for accurate troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake work, wheel alignment, and transmission repairs.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive lifts safely and effectively.
- Service technician experience with Chrysler and Toyota vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
