Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to ensure a safe and organized work environment
- Operate power tools and hand tools to support framing, and other construction activities
- Perform demolition, renovation, or restoration tasks to help refurbish existing structures or prepare sites for new construction
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in construction estimating is a plus for understanding project scope and materials
Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, concrete pumping, and finishing techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of framing, carpentry—including trim carpentry—and roofing systems
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
