Maintenance Tech

Our Property Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community
• Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors
• Completes apartment make-ready procedures such as: painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing old and faulty parts; replacing burnt-out light bulbs; checking/changing locks; and cleaning.
• Makes regular inspections of grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment and performing repairs as necessary with the approval of the Property Manager.
• Responsible for maintaining an organized maintenance shop and keeping inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies. 
• Maintain apartment community curb appeal by performing necessary lawncare 
• Takes after-hours emergency calls, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in property maintenance is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects

Requirements:

• Required to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• This position requires availability for on-call emergencies at all hours
• Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation
• Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities
