What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officers position at Wiley College?
Security Officers support the institution in maintaining a safe and secure environment in which to live learn, and work. The Security Officers will patrol the campus premises including college buildings, and property, and patrol parking lots to ensure their security; check incoming and outgoing traffic on campus; regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic; check all automobiles on college property for proper parking as well as parking permits; detect and deter crimes or violations of college regulations; provide information about Wiley College to students, staff, and the general public; and provide security for college events. High school diploma required; associate's degree in an area of safety and security preferred.
