What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Professor-Education position at Wiley College?
Wiley College has an immediate need for adjunct faculty in the following areas: early childhood education, physical education, and music education. A master’s degree in the area or 18 hours in the specific area is required. Teaching experience is preferred. The primary goal of this position is to develop and teach undergraduate courses that will attract and retain students in the major and related field majors, and to participate in recruitment and the promotion of majors both in and outside of the Wiley College campus. The successful candidate must also support the mission and vision of the College; participate in College programs and student activities, and perform other duties as may be assigned by the Dean of the School or the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate students in an ethnically diverse environment, and experience in the use of cutting-edge information technology to advance learning.
