Long Term Substitute- Kindergarten Educational Assistant

We are seeking a long-term substitute educational assistant to work with students with and without disabilities in a kindergarten classroom at the Wildwood Early Childhood Center. The educational assistant will be responsible for the following: •Support the needs of all students within the general education classroom and specialist classrooms (including art, music, physical education, and technology education) or any other setting within the school where instruction may be occurring •Assist students academically, socially, and emotionally with learning activities developed by the classroom teacher and/or special education teacher •Assist classroom teacher by implementing student accommodations according to individual IEP or 504 plans •Work with students individually or in groups to support learning •Work collaboratively with classroom teacher and grade level colleagues •Attend staff meetings, professional development and curriculum improvement time as required •Responsible for other duties as assigned by the teacher or principal
