Lead Day Camp Counselor

Ready to spend your summer guiding activities and supporting fellow counselors? As a Lead Day Camp Counselor, you'll work closely with your Program Manager to ensure daily programs run smoothly and safely. You'll mentor and support day camp counselors, assist with planning and coordinating activities, model camp values, and pitch in wherever needed to create a fun, positive, and memorable experience for campers.

Description

What to Expect

• This is a seasonal summer position, with training beginning in late May and camp running from early June through early August.
• You'll work on-site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with meals provided while you're at camp.
• You'll work with different groups of children throughout the summer, creating unique and rewarding experiences in every session.
• You'll help the Program Manager keep daily activities running smoothly, safely, and enjoyably.
• You'll mentor and support day camp counselors, offering guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout the summer.
• You'll collaborate with the leadership team to plan, adjust, and troubleshoot activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

• At least 21 years old by June 2026 preferred (but not required)
• Experience working with children

What We Offer

• $100 bonus for each team member that you refer, is hired, and arrives at camp for staff training
• $250 bonus if you accept our offer of employment before March 1, 2026
• $500 scholarship awarded to one staff member
