Optician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optician at Wildwood Eyecare, located in Marietta, GA. The Optician will perform a range of tasks including assisting patients with eyewear selection, measuring and fitting lenses and frames, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional responsibilities may include troubleshooting eyewear issues, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with optical standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience and expertise in dispensing, fitting, and adjusting eyewear
• Strong understanding of optical measurements, prescriptions interpretation, and lens options
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient records and prescription data
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Knowledge of optical software and familiarity with lens or frame inventory management
• Certification as a Licensed or Certified Optician (preferred but not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant training is advantageous
