Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality management initiatives across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee quality systems, ensure compliance with industry standards such as, ISO 9001, AS9100 and drive continuous improvement in quality control and assurance processes. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction through effective quality audits, inspections, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with, ISO 9001, AS9100 and other relevant standards.
- Oversee quality control procedures including inspections, testing, and validation of products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage non-conformance issues by investigating root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quality systems that support manufacturing excellence and product safety.
- Conduct analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- Provide training on quality systems, standards, and best practices to staff at all levels.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for audits, certifications, and regulatory submissions.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in quality management processes using project management methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards including ISO 9001, AS9100.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits and inspections.
- Solid understanding of quality control techniques and quality inspection procedures.
- Experience in developing and managing Quality Systems (QMS) and QA/QC processes.
- Strong communication skills to train staff and collaborate with regulatory bodies.
- Relevant certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Lead Auditor are preferred.
