Overview
This position is for Tuesday-Sunday with either Wednesday/Thursday off.
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas to maintain a tidy environment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking and food preparation techniques.
- Experience in banquet settings or catering services is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
