Job Summary
The Beverage Cart Attendant is integral to the guest experience, providing various snacks and beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests on the golf course in a timely, professional, and positive manner.
Essential Job Functions
- Always maintains a professional appearance according to restaurant and golf course dress code.
- Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
- Sets up beverages in a beverage cart with the appropriate number and types of beverages according to policies advocated by the facility.
- Drives the beverage cart around the golf course to serve food and beverages to guests.
- Follows the rules of golf etiquette when approaching groups and driving carts between holes.
- Ensures alcoholic drinks are only served to guests 21 years of age or older by checking state-issued I.D.
- Greets guests in a friendly manner and inquiries about their beverage and or snack needs.
- Restocks the beverage cart with ice, beverages, and snacks throughout the day.
- Responds to customer questions regarding general information about the facility.
- Accountable for all cash transactions. Verifies and balances the actual ending inventory quantities against the inventory count sheet and the created POS ticket.
- Utilizes point-of-sales system (POS).
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintains a clean working environment by sanitizing beverage carts throughout the day.
- Unloads the beverage cart at the end of the shift, replacing unused stock in its designated area. Ensures the storage area is clean and orderly.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Six (6) months of experience in cash handling is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends are required.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years’ experience
- Will work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
- Needs to stand and or walk for long periods; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; and able to bend, lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
- Requires a criminal history background check.
- Must be 21 years of age.
