Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills, including specialized programs such as Montessori and early intervention strategies
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful and productive environment
- Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their physical needs, hygiene routines, and emotional well-being
- Incorporate special education principles to support children with additional learning needs or developmental delays
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Prior classroom management experience in early childhood settings or daycare environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods for young learners
- Hands-on experience in preschool or private school settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as literacy education or teaching physical education is a plus
