What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Teacher position at Wildflowers Learning Center?
Summary
We are searching for an energetic Afternoon PM Teacher to support our preschool, toddler and infant classrooms. Schedule would be roughly 3:00 - 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. This is a perfect opportunity for someone interested in teaching and working in early childhood education and wants to work in a classroom support role.
Duties
- Support the implementation of the Well curriculum
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and healthy learning environment
- Establish positive and productive relationships with children, families and coworkers.
- Uphold a commitment to professionalism.
- Must have a warm, supportive attitude toward children.
- Must be reliable and flexible in adapting to changes within the program.
- Must be willing to perform other duties as required.
- Must be willing to have fun!
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Desired: 2 years of experience working in the child care field
- Desired: CPR/First Aid Training, SBS Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Training
