Vice President, Operations
The Vice President of Operations reports to the CEO at our Livingston, CA, is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions across healthcare laundry and linen processing network. This executive leader drives operational excellence, safety, service quality, productivity, cost management, labor strategy, and customer satisfaction while supporting the company’s strategic growth objectives.
The VP of Operations partners closely with executive leadership, plant leadership teams (General Managers), HR, Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure consistent execution of operational standards and continuous improvement initiatives across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures
- Report to and assist Chief Executive Officer in daily tasks and duties
- Ensure company policies align with and advance business objectives
- Strategically map-out, plan, and manage projects
- Analyze and maintain operational data
- Develop improved business functionality that increases profits
- Communicate with management teams to confirm execution of company processes
- Train staff in policies and procedures and supervise their daily work
- Set goals for staff and monitor their progress
- Conduct frequent performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with best business practices throughout organization
- Implement improved operational measures and policies that promotes efficiency
- Contribute to innovation of new products
- Track and maintain budgets of operational costs
- Coordinate purchase of raw materials and supplies
- Monitor product inventory
- Maintain positive client and vendor relationship
QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equivalent work experience and MBA preferred
- 5 years operations/management experience In healthcare laundry or linen processing – preferably with multi-site experience
- Excellent record keeping, attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office products
- Ability to work well with superiors, co-workers and direct reports in an office environment
- Ability to change tasks quickly and still maintain attention
