Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client, a leader in design and manufacturing of equipment is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Reports to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, and supports hiring primarily in our San Joaquin Valley, CA for both Salaried and Hourly plant positions,

This is a newly created role due to growth, and they are looking for a rockstar! This person will:

  • Deliver full life-cycle recruitment across front line, technical, engineering, and manufacturing roles
  • Building strong candidate pipelines while providing a positive hiring experience from start to end
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies, leverage data and technology
  • Be able to manage 50-60 open requisitions at any given time


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to execute hiring strategies aligned to workforce needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by setting expectations, sharing market insight, and guiding hiring decisions
  • Lead full life-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and close
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using ATS, job boards, social platforms, and industry networks
  • Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused experience for candidates and hiring teams with clear, timely communication
  • Use data, reporting, and market trends to improve recruiting effectiveness and speed to hire
  • Leverage AI and recruiting technologies to enhance sourcing, screening, and overall efficiency
  • Coordinate offer development and negotiation to secure top talent
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, OFCCP requirements, and company policies
  • Support hiring events, site visits, and recruiting initiatives


This role requires:

  • Close partnership with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and external partners
  • Ownership of requisitions and accountability for hiring outcomes
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • The ability to influence hiring decisions without direct authority
  • An ongoing focus on improving processes, candidate experience, and recruiting effectiveness


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in technical, engineering, or manufacturing environments in either a corporate setting or in an agency setting
  • Experience advising hiring managers on recruiting strategies, HR practices, and employment regulations (including OFCCP compliance)
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and sourcing across digital and traditional channels
  • Experience using an ATS (UKG or similar HRIS platforms preferred)
  • Demonstrated success engaging and converting passive candidates
  • Ability to build diverse talent pipelines using creative sourcing strategies
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and personal accountability


Working Conditions:

Travel may be required, both domestic and international (up to 20%)

Compensation Range $88,000 - $96,000 with an annual bonus incentive.
