Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing therapy team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate physical therapy services to pediatric patients in a supportive, play-based outpatient setting.

As a new and expanding pediatric therapy clinic, this position offers a unique opportunity to grow with the clinic, contribute to program development, and collaborate within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to family-centered care.

The position will start part-time but anticipate the option to grow into a full time position quickly.

Duties

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to pediatric patients’ needs, including those with orthopedic, neurological, or developmental conditions.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise programs to promote mobility and function.
  • Assess patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care strategies.
  • Document patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, safety precautions, and home care routines to support recovery outside clinical settings.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control protocols across all settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, and home health visits.

Skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
