Wildflour Bakery, a beloved vegan bakery and café in Pawtucket, RI, is seeking an experienced Baker & Cake Decorator to join our talented team.
Since 2010, Wildflour has been baking up some of New England’s favorite vegan pastries, cookies, and custom cakes. Our bakery has become a local institution known for creativity, sustainability, and community-minded values — and we’d love for you to be part of it!
About the Role
As a Baker and Cake Decorator, you’ll be responsible for producing a variety of bakery and pastry items for our café and custom orders. You’ll work in a collaborative, creative environment focused on consistency, innovation, and quality.
Minimum 1 year of professional baking experience and proven cake decorating skill required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods including cakes, pastries, cookies, and breads
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to customer requests
- Maintain Wildflour’s high standards of quality, food safety, and presentation
- Collaborate with the baking team to ensure timely production and order fulfillment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
- Provide excellent service when interacting with customers about orders and inquiries
- Maintain composure and focus in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of professional baking experience
- Cake decorating experience and proven skill
- Experience or interest in vegan baking a plus
- Passion for baking and creativity in presentation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
