Job Summary:

We are seeking a team-oriented individual to join our packaging/production team. We need reliable and driven people with a proven track record of taking the initiative regarding efficiency and quality of work.

This position involves working in a fast-paced production environment. We need someone who understands the importance of working efficiently and adhering to uniform production standards.

While prior experience with cannabis is preferred, it is not necessary. We'll provide all relevant on-the-job training.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Weighing/packaging cannabis products, flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates
• Creating pre-rolls
• Labeling packaging
• Trimming cannabis promptly while maintaining quality
• Weighing bulk packages of flower and trim
• Following all safety and compliance guidelines set by management
• Sanitization of work areas and equipment

We are a small team, and there will be times when the packaging team will assist the trim or cultivation departments. Typical duties for these occasions include but are not limited to

• Defoliation
• Trimming
• Harvesting and hanging plants
• Bucking
• Cleaning equipment and work areas

Qualifications

• Prior experience with cannabis is preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to keep pace with company standards of production
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Understanding and application of compliance and sanitization protocols

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Possess an IIC card from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy or have the ability to obtain one before joining the team.
• Must remain compliant with all Office of Cannabis Policy requirements for working in the cannabis industry
• Reliable transportation to the facility
• Ability to work positively in a team environment to achieve company goals
• Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
