What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Teller - Bay City, MI position at Wildfire Credit Union?
Wildfire Credit Union is looking for a full time Teller at our Bay City, MI location. This position is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders and travelers checks. In addition, this position balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals; performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems; answers members questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties; actively cross-sells Credit Union services. This position performs specific assigned side-jobs and assists other Service Representatives with duties as required; and serves members promptly and professionally. This position requires excellent public relations skills and an understanding of Service Representative functions and procedures. Timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy as well as professionalism are vital to the successful execution of this position.
Requirements include: a high school graduate or equivalent with knowledge of Teller and Member Service Representative operations and Credit Union experience preferred; good communication skills; professional appearance, dress and attitude; good math skills; ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including adding machine, copy machine, and coin and money counting machines; and good typing skills.
