Job Description
As the Executive sous your job will be to help lead the daily operations of the restaurant. Assisting the Executive Chef in dish development, organizational standards, cleanliness, and leadership. As well as assisting in the teaching and training of cooks, dishwashers, and at times Sous Chefs as well.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Ability to organize and lead a team
- Oversee cleaning and general restaurant maintenance
- Control over labor and food waste
- Assist in development and implementation of new dishes
- Monthly inventory
- Organization of product both prepped and raw
- Staff training on new dishes and techniques
- Production including butchering, as well as skilled sauce and vegetable work
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience, 1 of which in a management position
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Knowledge in food safety and sanitation
- Strong leadership skills
