Wilder's, a fine dining restaurant in the heart of Birmingham, is searching for a passionate and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first impression of our restaurant, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for every guest.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm smile and professional demeanor.
- Seat guests according to their preferences and reservation status.
- Manage the waitlist efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between reservations.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
- Assist with answering phones and taking reservations.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting (preferred).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests of all backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Full-time availability (We are open for dinner service at 4pm 7 days a week)
