Duties
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with the menu
- Maintain restaurant's standards by stocking inventory, organizing, and keeping lobby clean
- Use strong communication skills to engage bilingual customers effectively and ensure their needs are met
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service and/or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first mindset are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform retail math calculations confidently for cash handling and sales totals
- Not required, bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
Pay: From $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
