Job Title: Mechanic/Trailer Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trailers and trucks to ensure they are in optimal working condition. As a Mechanic/Trailer Technician, you will utilize your expertise in Automotive diagnostics to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, fabricate parts when necessary, and perform Equipment repair tasks. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trailers and trucks to identify any mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs on truck and trailer components such as brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems, among other systems.
- Utilize welding techniques to repair or fabricate trailer parts as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using Automotive diagnostics tools.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on trailers and trucks.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Service technician practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in Electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with Forklift operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform Automotive repair tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
