Wild Thyme Café & Market is your local stop for fresh, flavorful bites in the heart of Pasco County’s first neighborhood farm. From breakfast and coffee to shareables and fine wines, our menu brings farm-to-table goodness to every meal.
The Wild Thyme Cafe is an intimate neighborhood setting within the Welcome Center at Angeline. Our guests include residents, realtors, and other visitors to the area.
JOB SUMMARY:
This person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our amenities and keeping all land areas clean and well organized including the common areas and buildings. This position is responsible for interacting positively with all staff and guests while always monitoring the areas cleanliness and safety. They also assist with setting up furniture and minor maintenance. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality
- Adhere to all safety policies to ensure guests and team members’ safety
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the property to include sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, cleaning metal fixtures and fittings, air-blowing, emptying and cleaning trash containers, cleaning toilets, mirrors, sinks
- Use chemicals to clean, sanitize, and disinfect
- Reset all furniture
- Ensure all areas are clean and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure all amenities are re-stocked throughout the day
- Become knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities to effectively communicate with guests
- Report any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team
- Other duties as required, including assisting other departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma preferred
- 1 year janitorial/host experience preferred
- Basic cleaning knowledge
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long and sustained periods
- Ability to work independently for long periods
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Wild Thyme Cafe is open during the following hours. You must have flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Monday-Wednesday: 10am-6pm
Thursday: 10am-7pm
Friday-Saturday: 10am-9pm
Sunday: 11am-6pm
