What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Wild Side Smoke Shop?
We are currently hiring a motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our Smoke & Vape Shop team for closing shifts ending at 2:00 AM. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Sales Associate, you will work directly with customers to understand their needs, educate them on our products, and deliver an excellent in-store experience while helping the store meet daily sales goals.
What You’ll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service and build positive customer relationships
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions confidently
- Promote in-store sales, specials, and raffles
- Process transactions accurately using a POS system
- Upsell products when appropriate
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked sales areas
- Complete daily cleaning, cash handling, and inventory counts
- Open and/or close the store following company procedures
- Communicate inventory needs with management
- Follow all company policies and compliance standards
- Execute daily tasks and priorities set by management
What We’re Looking For
- Basic understanding of retail sales and customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, energetic, and reliable personality
- Ability to work late-night closing shifts (until 2:00 AM)
- Comfort working under pressure and resolving customer concerns
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Experience using POS systems preferred (but willing to train)
- Ability to stay knowledgeable about product offerings
